Review: When Georgie was small, we never had much problem with dribble. She just didn’t do it that much, even when teething. Lydia, however, is a completely different baby, and it was obvious from the start that we were going to be dealing with a lot more drool this time around.
I was soon onto twitter, asking people for their dribble bib recommendations. The overwhelming answer? Funky Giraffe. It wasn’t long before Lydia was sporting one of their fun bibs around her neck on her dribbly days, and they definitely turned a few heads, with a couple of fellow mums asking me where I got her bibs from.

The Funky Giraffe Bandana Bibs come in a dazzling array of different patterns and designs, with a bib available for every occasion! There are 1st christmas bibs, birthday bibs, royal baby bibs, halloween bibs, valentines day bibs, and easter bibs… if there’s a style you want, it’s quite possibly there already. With bibs for tractor mad kids, animal lovers, polka dot princesses, miniature punk rockers and even little hippy chicks, they really do have it covered.
The bibs themselves are made from 100% cotton on the front, and 100% polyester fleece on the back. The summer lightweight bibs are 100% cotton on both layers, giving a cooler bib to wear with only a little bit of sacrifice in absorption. The fabric seems to be great quality; lovely & soft on Lydia’s skin.

There are double poppers on the each bib which allow you to adjust the sizing – they fit both Lydia and Georgie comfortably, although Georgie won’t keep them on as she isn’t used to them!
These bibs are extremely absorbent and look fantastic. With such a wide variety of styles on offer you can mix and match to your child’s outfit perfectly, and they are as practical as they are stylish. The only criticism I would have of these is that the pointed end of the bib tends to curl up a little. They have survived lots of goes through the washer & dryer with no visible shrinking or wear.
I always make sure I have one of these bibs tucked into my changing bag in case Lydia gets an attack of the dribbles. We give these lovely bandana bibs a 4 star rating – they do the job and look great.
