Manufacturer’s Description: MikaB teething jewellery is safe for babies and looks great on mums. As a mum you probably don’t wear jewellery as it may not be safe for your baby and your jewellery. MikaB teething jewellery is the solution. Our jewellery may help your baby to go through the difficult time of teething by providing something safe and attractive to chew on.

MikaB teething jewellery is made of non-toxic, food grade silicone. It is the same kind of silicon babies soothers and bottle nipples are made of.

Our jewellery is colourful, fashionable and will look great not only on mums but also on aunties, grannies and big sisters. You can also use it as a normal piece of jewellery. Nobody will notice it’s a teething jewellery 😉

Review: We were sent three items of MikaB Teething Jewellery to review; the Violet Red Necklace, the Violet Red Bangle, and the Medium Purple Circle Pendant.

I love the concept of teething jewellery; child friendly necklaces and bracelets that can be tugged upon, gnawed at, banged about & generally abused and used to relieve teething pain. Young babies and toddlers are known for being fascinated by adults’ jewellery and so stuff they can chew and play with is ideal.

These pieces are all striking in their appearance and the bright colours and fun shapes make them instantly appealing to babies. I think that they all look great; the necklace and bangle work perfectly together. On the occasions that I’ve worn them out and about together, I have had compliments from friends and other parents.

Lydia loves all three pieces of jewellery, however the necklace with it’s alternating shaped beads and contrasting white ribbon is clearly her favourite. Georgie also loves the necklace, and keeps putting it on to wander around the house in!

The necklace & pendant both have breakaway clasps which makes them safer for small children, and also more comfortable for me – if Lydia or Georgie tug hard at them when I am wearing them, they simply come off from around my neck instead of hurting me.

The silicone used in these necklaces is great for teething on, being the perfect level of hardness and chewiness. I’ve had teething necklaces in the past that seemed very thin and hard in comparison, and Georgie & Lydia have been completely uninterested in chewing on them.

MikaB isn’t a brand I have come across before, but I am definitely very impressed by them. The necklace in particular is just fantastic; I pop it in my changing bag if I’m not wearing it, as it will always help to settle a teething Lydia down. Several of the colour combinations would look really smart with posh outfits for weddings etc, and very on trend.

The prices for the MikaB Teething Jewellery seem very reasonable, and the delivery charges are incredibly so, especially when you consider that they are coming from Ireland. I have bought many small products from within England that have cost me much more in delivery charges!

5 stars for MikaB Teething Jewellery!
