Review: Our final review from our collection of Koo-di goodies is this gorgeous baby blanket that we have been testing out for the past few weeks. The Koo-di Fluffy Baby Blanket is incredibly soft and cosy, and I have been very pleased with it.
The blanket is made from polyester with a polycotton edging, and is really fluffy and very soft to touch. The main bit of blanket is an off-white, with a fun patterned edging – the instantly recognisable Koo-di polka dots. This edging adds a splash of colour and bit of modern style to the blanket.
The polka dots are larger on the blanket I received than in the product shot above.

The blanket is a little bigger than I tend to use for a pushchair blanket, but is great as a cot blanket and would be perfect for a newborn to wriggle about on, or as a playmat for young babies. Lydia is crawling about all over the place now so wouldn’t stay put on this if we tried!
We have used the blanket both in & out of the house; as a cot blanket for nap time, and a blanket to keep Lydia warm in the pushchair. I had to double it up for the pushchair so that it wouldn’t drag in the mud, but it was great to have plenty of warm and snuggly layers on Lydia as she was just sitting around in the cold, watching Georgie at the playground.
It made an absolutely ideal cot blanket, keeping Lydia snug and warm while she slept. I am now keeping it beside the cot for nap time, as Lydia sleeps in a sleeping bag at night but often gets put down asleep without a bag in the daytime, so that she needs a blanket instead.

Machine washable at 40°C, you don’t have to worry about getting this blanket dirty. I have a couple of blankets that require our most sensitive washing machine cycle, or even worse – hand washing. Please, if you are going to buy a gift for a new baby, make it something you can just chuck in the machine with everything else – practicality is never to be underestimated with a baby gift!
The price of this blanket is a little high compared to the amount we would normally spend on a baby blanket, but saying that it is fairly comparable to other luxury baby blankets of its quality & size. It is one of the most attractive baby blankets I have seen, and definitely the softest – it really is impossibly soft, just like the matching Snugsuit.
Most gender neutral blankets are so boring, being either plain white or yellow – if a new baby is on the way and you don’t know the gender ahead of time, it is lovely to be able to buy a gift that is a bit different to the usual options. This blanket is an ideal newborn gift, and I am very tempted to buy a few as gifts for some of the new babies that are due this year.
I give the Koo-di Fluffy Baby Blanket 4 stars. I wonder if I could persuade them to make one big enough for me?
